We use proprietary and patented processes to reversibly capture thousands of naturally occurring (native) and recombinant proteins within the purine-binding proteome. We can capture these proteins from virtually any tissue or cell line using a proprietary matrix, or affinity media, containing immobilized ligands which are derived from naturally-occurring molecules. These ligands are attached to a solid support in such a way that all proteins that normally interact with the ligand are quantitatively captured. Once captured, the proteins can be selectively released by treating them with natural purine analogs at various concentrations.
